Problem/Opportunity
Extrasolar intelligences (if any) are probably out of reach of earth intellectual property laws. This presents both problems and opportunities.

Idea Description
If you are currently receiving television broadcasts from Earth, rebroadcast them toward Earth, but throwing a commercial/noncommercial switch which redirects the signal to one of two transmitters on two frequencies, or 2 VCR's if you want to tape them for future rebroadcast.
